Shield Building Services UK Ltd is an established construction company in Hampshire and the surrounding areas. They approached us to design for them a new website to showcase their services and completed projects. To showcase their work we built a large grid-style gallery that included some highlight and zoom mouse-over effects. There is also a clever box-flip effect on the services page to add a little flair to the design.

The website features a bold colour palette using the company’s new blue branding as the primary colour. It also has a full-width front page image slider with overlayed text, a responsive layout, a smart search feature, an embedded Google map, and a contact form. The header navigation bar is sticky, meaning it sits at the top of the browser screen as you scroll down a page, and automatically switches between white and transparent depending on the header colour of each page. When the screen size is reduced on a mobile device, the menu switches to a responsive version that slides out from the side of the screen.
